Eu Yan Sang Sheng Hua Tang 65g 余仁生生化汤
Sheng Hua soup is for women in the postpartum period, after they have given birth to a child.
Sheng Hua soup is traditionally used to help improve blood circulation, clears stasis and clots, warms the body and disperses cold, improve metabolism and expelling of lochia (vaginal discharge/bleeding after childbirth). Also helps the uterus to shrink back to shape and prevents uterine hematoma.
1. Give the prewashed herbs a gentle final rinse under running water.
2. Add 300 to 500g of meat (or mock meat for vegetarian) of your choice and approximately 1500ml of water into a pot.
3. Bring soup to a boil and simmer on low heat for 1.5 hours. (if pressure cooker 20 minutes, slow cooker 2 hours)
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep refrigerated once opened.
Suitable for postnatal use. Contra-indication in pregnant woman and children.
